Ok, this wasn't really a show. He just played two songs at some guys retirement party. I'm still counting it.
I don't talk much. I may dance a bit. This is an incomplete list of some shows I've seen.
We went to see Langford play at a taco place. And I ate ceviche, because it came with the app combo Amy ordered but she didn't like it. It needed salt.
Langford covered Strummer's X-ray Style. The title track from the Mescaleros' first record, but still kind of a 'deep cut.' I smiled.
Peter and Beth were supposed to join us (actually, we were joining them), but they were both sick. Booooo.
I had been carrying around a big Strummer obsession for quite some time. I finally got to see him here. He opened with Diggin' the New (fittingly), but there was Clash stuff pretty generously strewn throughout. The timpani (or whatever passed for them) were insane for Tony Adams. A. Maz. Ing.
Jon Langford opened (with the Skull Orchard band/album). This is where THAT obsession began.
